The owner of the property was very nice and accommodating. the rooms were clean and had all the necessary appliances. the cottage had a common room with games like billiards and darts, which was great for entertainment. the location was key, as it was near a lake and situated in the midst of nature.
The bathroom was a bit small and the shower was narrow. the beds were uncomfortable and caused a restless night.

We had a fantastic weekend at a lodge in Madawaska! the service provided by the owner was exceptional - he showed us around and made us feel comfortable. the trails and local lake were easily accessible from the lodge, which was a huge plus for nature lovers like us. the lodge's proximity to Algonquin Provincial Park was a key location factor for us. the spacious lodge had a well-equipped kitchen, perfect for our needs. We also enjoyed the communal living area with its pool table and movie options - great fun!
There was no wifi in our lodge, although it was available in the communal spaces. we found the lack of on-site staff in the evenings to be a drawback.

Surrounded by nature, near lakes, in a safe and peaceful area. Good restaurant with enjoyable dinner options. No WiFi in the room, only in communal spaces.
Twin beds were not what we expected. Driving to Algonquin national park took longer than anticipated.
